Offering Certified Peer Support, Therapeutic Programming and Safe Spaces for Female and 2SLGBTQ+ Canadian Forces and Allied Military Veterans since 2015.

Its unique mission is to provide certified and ethical peer support as well as certified and ethical mental health programming to Canadian veterans, who are also visible, or invisible minorities, who are living with anxiety, PTSD, and, or, other forms of trauma.

We offer a variety of therapeutic programs in clearly defined "safe spaces," including, peer support, and peer support training, as well as community gardening and animal assisted therapy.  All programs are facilitated by volunteers and supported by funding from community and government partners.  They are available at no cost to eligible CAF service members and CAF, and Allied, veterans.

WWHG understands that members of minority groups often feel marginalized, or even unsafe, in traditional programs designed for veterans.  WWHG's vision is to provide caring and professional community-based support for those who have selflessly served our country, but who do not fit the societal stereotype of a military veteran, including Women, People of Colour, First Nations, and those who identify as 2SLGBTQ.
